It's hard to believe that school will be starting within a month!! I know that my kids are NOT looking forward to it.But they should look at it from my point of view. I see them sitting around most of the days, watching TV, and complaining that they are bored. If you have school, then you are seeing your friends and socializing, and certainly not bored at night because of all the homework.
Then again, with summer it is a great time to play with the kids because they are too busy with homework. We can take some time out with them and go on a little vacation, or play cards or a board game at night. We get to have some time to reconnect as a family. Sure they get bored, but at least we have fun at night being a family.The stores are already putting out their merchandise for back to school.
Yes...summer is breezing by, but it's nice just to take some time out and reconnect as a family and enjoy one another. :)
