The Choices were few

I had looked online for my fridge and thought we would get one of those. But, when I got to the store, there were others and not the one I saw online. Isn't that how it goes? They intice you with a higher priced upgraded model. Then you buy that one. They are cleaver, those sales people at the store. They know what people want.

I narrowed it down to 3 choices. A fridge with a freezer on the bottom and it was energy efficient but the most expensive one; then a fridge with the freezer on top, the cheapest. It looked too much like the old fridge; and the one we decided on was a white side by side which was in the middle of the other two. This one has crushed ice and water in the door. So maybe this will be good for the family.

You know what maufacturers need to make someday? A fridge for the consumer, with see through shelves. You could just look inside from the outside without ever opening the door. Think of all the savings by not ever opening the door until your ready to make your food selections. Of course, people would be forced to clean up their mess in the fridge and it would look pretty unsightly seeing all of their food. Sauces dripping off of a lid (because you didn't close it properly), or a leaky container dripping, and making an awful nasty mess. This may not be a good idea. But you never know this might happen in the future.

Afterall, they have clothes washers and driers that you can see through. Why not a fridge? It's progress. :)

Hmm...that would be a cool idea. But the one we got is pretty good.
