The Trades (KU version)

Well now there has been some trading going on overnight. Darrell Arthur's journey started like this: He was "supposed" to be high in the draft but because of some rumor about his health his draft status dropped all the way down to 27 (1st round, at least). New Orleans originally drafted him; then he was traded to Portland; Portland traded him to Houston; and now since last night he has been traded to Memphis. A lot of trading! Sort of sounds like baseball card trading, only we are talking about a person/player here.

Mario Chalmers was "supposed" to be picked in the first round and that is why he stayed in the draft not returning to school. If the scouts (or whoever) could have gotten it right in the first place Mario MIGHT have returned to KU. He was picked in the 2nd round (number 34). He was drafted to Minnesota and was traded to the Miami Heat. Apparently they think highly of him.

Darnell Jackson was drafted in the second round (number 52) by Miami and now they have traded him to Cleveland.

Sasha Kaun was drafted by Seattle (in the second round, number 56). He was traded off to Cleveland. So whenever Sasha decides to return MAYBE he and Darnell will be on the same team. Nothing is set in stone.

There could be some more trades!
