KU lost to UCLA in the Elite 8! We were hoping the team would pull through in the second half, but they didn't. We are all sad here. Long faces, crying (there is crying in basketball), we as fans of the Jayhawks wanted to be in the Final 4 as much as the team.
We have had a great season this year. I hope that our team do just as well next year. We should keep the same guys as we have no seniors on the team. There is a possibility that some players have thought about turning pro. Julian Wright said that he would return for next year. Brandon Rush, may or may not turn pro. However, in my opinion, Rush is not NBA ready this year. He should at least wait another year. He had some bad passes tonight against UCLA. Granted he was the leading scorer for the Jayhawks, but his plays are not NBA worthy. I think that he should stay with the team to become better. But again this is my opinion. He may think otherwise.
We will lose Tim Jankovich as he will become the head coach of Illinois State. He's been truly an asset for our coaching staff. Danny Manning will move up and become an associate coach to Bill Self.
I love this team of Jayhawks. Tonight wasn't their night and next year might be their year.
RCJH go KU!

yes. it made me really mad, but there's always next year! this was a really talented team this year, and we have more players coming next year. go KU!
The pictures of Bill and the boys say it all for me. We will have more players coming next year. But what will this mean for Brad Witherspoon (the walk on from Humboldt, KS)? Will there still be a spot open for him? It will be interesting how the team will look next year and how the media will treat us in the polls, etc.
But you know how the media is toward KU!
