KU beat Niagra tonight. This is the first time they got past the first round since 2004. The team has had to "grin and bear it" when the national media rubbed their noses in their previous first round losses to Bucknell and Bradley. Everytime that KU had to play on national media (CBS and ESPN) this year, they ALWAYS showed the "low-light" reels of KU losing to Bucknell and Bradley. Hopefully we won't have to put up with that anymore. Leave the past behind!
The Jayhawks next game will be against the Kentucky Wildcats on Sunday afternoon. It will be a KU-UK match. The Wildcats are an 8th seed in the west division. The last time these two teams met was back on January 7, 2006 in Lawrence. KU won that game. KU also played them back on Jan. 9, 2005, in Lexington, KY, with KU winning that one as well. So no doubt the Wildcats will want to win this game from the Hawks big time. Just hopefully Bill and the rest of the coaching staff will have scouted out this team well enough and the players can play KU style basketball. Best of luck to the coaching staff and the players on Sunday! Rock Chalk Jayhawk!

We'll just have to wait and see which team shows up. Hopefully by now they've figured it out, LOL. Do you think it'll be over by the time church starts? What to do??
